Commentary noted today that President Barack Obama has gone ahead and re-wrote all the official presidential biographies on the White House website to include a reference to himself in every one. As Obama has noted several times, the entire history of the world has been leading up to now and everything that has come prior in our nation has only been a prelude to the greatness of Obama.
From noting that while "Calvin Coolidge became the first president to make a public radio address to the American people... President Obama became the first president to hold virtual gatherings and town halls using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, etc." to "President Truman wrote that the government has an obligation to see that the civil rights of every citizen are fully and equally protected... the Obama administration continues to strive toward upholding the civil rights of its citizens, repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell," and everything in between, every President's historic actions apparently only serve to highlight just how great Obama is.
The biographies, while amusing in their utter lack of humility, do not offer much in the way of visuals, so inspired by the Free Beacon I have also decided to capture some of Obama’s forgotten moments in history:
Here we see the historic Barack Obama and Patrick Ewing receiving a basketball from President Ronald Reagan.
This touching photo is of Barack Obama with his arm around President John F Kennedy.
President Andrew Jackson might have been nicknamed 'The People's President,' but that's only because President Obama hadn't come along yet. Here we see the two of them in a classic photo- President Jackson is probably creating something that was only perfected when Obama became President years later.
Monticello today is a historic landmark, but only became so after President Obama beat President Jefferson in a legendary game of golf. As we all know, Thomas Jefferson was the principal author of the United States Declaration of Independence, a document that foretold the future coming of Barack Obama, whose election finally gave America a nation it could be proud of. Although the house was designed by Jefferson on neoclassical principles, President Obama once golfed an entire round of golf with a tire iron and shot a 15.
