And yet, in spite of electing a President who has promised to raise our nation above the race debate, in spite of electing a President who many said would end racism, accusations of racism are skyrocketing and our nation is being divided even more bitterly along racial lines. It is almost as if the election of Obama represents the opposite of what he promised- the candidate who was elected promising less racial tensions has led to more. This should not be shocking- it is the same candidate who promised to be bipartisan and is the most partisan and who promised to bring change but who proposes ideas long since discarded and who has promised not to raise taxes but has raised taxes and who promised to not make raise above the rancor of Washington but makes the most personal attacks.
Racism is not a joking manner, but the way that the liberals in Congress are treating it, it is getting sadly and bitterly funny. As MISSOURAH.com put it "It’s pretty exhausting trying to keep track of what is legitimate criticism of President Obama and what is racial hatred. That’s why (he) developed this handy flow chart:"
