NHL Midwinter Classic

If you didn't get a chance to check out the NHL Midwinter Classic, in which the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 6-4, you missed one heck of a production. From the entrance of the players and their little traditions, to the national anthem which was wonderfully sung and had fireworks and a flyover by the Air Force, to the wonderful fans who filled the seats and the surrounding buildings and roared during the whole game- it was a great production. The little touches were great- throw back uniforms, Hall of Famer's dropping the puck- heck, even the coaches wore old school hockey jackets! The NHL should be very proud of what they have done.
